MusicAIRE aims to assist the recovery of the Music Sector by designing and testing a support scheme that can meet the challenges posed by the pandemic while fostering the sustainability of the ecosystem. The action, supported by the Creative Europe Programme, intends to develop further the Music Moves Europe initiative and contributes to green, digital, and just and resilient recovery. Join us!
KEY & STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Test and prepare future EU support under the new Creative Europe Programme (2021-2027), by:
• Reaching out to the entire music sector/music ecosystem
• Assessing the needs of the music sector especially on impacts of the crisis and long-term challenges
• Amplifying the voices of the sector through a participatory approach

Boost the music sector’s recovery post-crisis, by:
• Developing an effective and efficient data management system supporting the implementation of the support scheme
• Designing and implementing an effective communication strategy, ensuring publicity and visibility of the scheme

Support sustainability actions that contribute to a green, digital and just and resilient recovery of the European music ecosystem, by:
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the redistribution scheme and the estimated impact of sustainability actions funded
• Ensuring high-quality coordination of the contract implementation, complying with standards of technical and financial excellence

The European Music Council (EMC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development and promotion of all genres and types of music in Europe. It is a network that promotes and supports music-related activities for representatives of both national music councils and European networks involved in the fields of music education, creation, performance, participation, production and heritage. It was founded in 1972 as the European regional group of the International Music Council (IMC) and has been registered under German law as an independent association since March 2003. The EMC contributes to a better mutual understanding amongst people and their different cultures and promotes the right for their musical cultures to coexist.
